When people started posting about this food truck meal I knew I had to give it a try. Not only was it something I've never heard of before but it looked *fire emojis*.

It was my mission a few weeks ago to visit Taco Cat food truck determined to try the Birria Pizza I had seen so many posting about.

Taco Cat, a Mexican food truck as cute as its name, can be found in the parking lot of the Exxon gas station in Cordova (610 N Germantown Pkwy). They have a good little set up with a large shaded canopy and bright colored picnic tables to eat at or take it home to enjoy.

There is nothing like cooling off with a flavorful sno-cone on one of those hot Memphis summer days we know so well. While we’re in the middle of yet another hot week, it’s a good time to check this newest spot off your list.

SnoJunt has possibly the most picturesque snow cones in the city with the mix of colors and (edible) glitter toppings. The man behind the sno-cones is Justin Lay. He opened this passion project in addition to his full-time job as a teacher and coach. Busy guy!

New Wing Order Has A Restaurant On Beale Street

One of Memphis' favorite hot wing food trucks will open their first brick-and-mortar restaurant on Beale Street! After years as a food truck traveling around town, owners Jesse McDonald and Cole Forrest knew they wanted to eventually have a brick and mortar restaurant.

They eventually connected with Ghost River Brewing owner Bob Keskey, who opened a second taproom on Beale Street last summer.

Shame on me for taking so long to try the tasty dumplings from the Dim Sum food truck. Yesterday I finally found my way to them at the Soul & Spirits Brewery taproom in Uptown, thanks to a few pals who were already fans.

Memphis's newest food truck, ¡Mexico In Memphis! opened today for lunch and parked at Baptist Corporate HQ. I'd stalked them on Instagram, so when I saw that the husband-and-wife team were ready to serve the public, I made a beeline for East Memphis.
