New Wing Order Has A Restaurant On Beale Street
One of Memphis' favorite hot wing food trucks will open their first brick-and-mortar restaurant on Beale Street! After years as a food truck traveling around town, owners Jesse McDonald and Cole Forrest knew they wanted to eventually have a brick and mortar restaurant.
They eventually connected with Ghost River Brewing owner Bob Keskey, who opened a second taproom on Beale Street last summer.
Here are a few fun neighborhoods for nightlife in Memphis. There are some bar recommendations too—sticking with places that generally don’t require reservations or are good for meeting up for drinks.
There are great bars in the suburbs, too, but for this quick guide I'm focusing on mostly walkable or dense areas.

Mean Girls the musical is coming to the Orpheum, April 26 through May 1!

Memphis In May 2023 makes its return to Tom Lee Park. The park, which is currently undergoing renovations, will take a pause in construction to let the festival come back.

Being a child of two educators, it only made sense that children’s picture book author and activist Alice Faye Duncan would become a writer who teaches as well as entertains with her writing.
