Soul Fish Cafe serves up dependable, affordable Southern comfort food in a casual cafe atmosphere. The original location in Cooper Young—opened in 2006—proved so popular that there are now six locations.

There are four spots in the Mid-South, including Germantown, East Memphis, and Wolfchase, plus two out-of-state in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Oxford, Mississippi.

Calvary Episcopal Church's Waffle Shop and Lenten Preaching Series is actually more than a tradition, it's an institution. Since 1928, the Calvary Episcopal Church in downtown Memphis has sold lunch in their basement on weekdays from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday.
