Look who I found! Tuyen Le, the amazing woman who worked at Saigon Le in the Crosstown neighborhood, is now at Le Delights Banh Mi and Pho in Cordova.

Settle in for the winter in Memphis with these ten delicious things to eat and drink in town right now. 1. Gourmet grilled cheese and bison tacos from Fuel Food Truck If you can catch Fuel's food truck (which has a slick new paint job) on a day when they're offering their gourmet grilled cheese, get it.

The stylish mural painted on the brick wall inside Tamp & Tap downtown offers guests the option to Grind or Unwind, which is an appropriate message for a coffee and beer concept. If you’re wondering about the name: the tamp is the metal thing for pressing grounds to make espresso, and the tap is of course, a beer tap.

If Memphis had an official side dish, it would be macaroni and cheese. It makes the veggie plate options roster at every meat-and-three in town, and when I asked who had the best, you guys had very strong opinions. You can't go wrong with any of these 10 local restaurants' variations on the dish: 1. South of Beale (361 S. Main St.)

Ever since taco/tapas joint Babalu opened in Overton Square a few years ago, I'd been hearing about their allegedly amazing Babalu burger.

Alas, Fino's East - located in Brookhaven Circle next to Brookhaven Pub - closed its doors in December 2018.

Flying Fish has long been a favorite downtown Memphis lunch option for me, for three reasons. First, it's pretty affordable, especially for seafood. Second, it's convenient: you order at the counter, the line moves fast, and there's plenty of seating. Finally, Flying Fish has healthy options - you can always go for their fried seafood, but they offer grilled versions of most things. Oh, and I guess there's a fourth reason: their food is delicious.

The heart of South Main has sushi and Asian cuisine option in the form of South Main Sushi and Grill, which opened in 2015, and reopened under new ownership in April of 2018. South Main Sushi & Grill is located across the street from Bluff City Coffee (before it was this, it was Grawmeyer's).
