The next time you need some peace and quiet, head to the new pedestrian bridge over the Wolf River. The wood and steel bridge pedestrian bridge connects Shelby Farms and the Greenline to the Wolf River greenway.

The views of the river are incredible, and it's pretty nice that you can't see or hear the traffic on the Walnut Grove bridge from the bridge.

Did you know that there used to be a bowling alley under the Kroger at Poplar and Highland?

No? Me either.

I wasn't sure what I was going to order when I stopped at Pho Saigon for lunch today. It was probably going to be pho, because at least half of my meals lately are. And then, I saw this diagram sitting on my table: 

In the past year or so, La Michoacana on Summer has become one of my favorite places to go for dessert. Their ice cream is delicious, their strawberries and cream is perfect, and their paletas come in several dozen flavors.

And while La Michoacana serves all of the standard flavors, the best things on the menu are the most exotic. Things like giant cups of corn flavored ice cream.
