There's a 65-acre arboretum hidden in the middle of East Memphis. It's called Lichterman Nature Center, and assignment #204 in the 365 Things to Do in Memphis is to take a break from the city and take a walk on its trails.
Hog and Hominy has become a Memphis staple since opening in 2011.
Hog and Hominy is the second restaurant opened by well-known Memphis chefs Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman. The beloved location is a wood burning, neighborhood eatery with a menu that you can't go wrong with any item.
