The Memphis Redbirds are taking over downtown's 901 Day Celebration with plans to make it the biggest event yet. Us Memphians know 901 Day is Sept. 1 is a day to celebrate what we all love about our city and all things 901. 901 Day falls on a Friday this year - woot!

For the last two years, the beloved Dory Restaurant operated with a tasting-menu experience. The menu and service is about to get much bigger.

Since opening in March of 2021, Dory has quickly become one of the most respected fine-dining experiences in Memphis with their approach of a tasting menu.

That dining approach wasn’t always the plan for co-owners Dave and Amanda Krog. Instead, it became the staple due to the pandemic and limitations to the number of guests they were allowed during that time.

Arnold’s Smokehouse is the creation of a brother-sister duo: Shanon and Ivy Arnold. Shanon is the head chef with a deep culinary background. He’s not a vegan. However, his sister Ivy is a longtime vegan who helped inspire the restaurant as equally vegan as it is a smokehouse.
