Dory to Transition to Full-Service Restaurant

For the last two years, the beloved Dory Restaurant operated with a tasting-menu experience. The menu and service is about to get much bigger.

Since opening in March of 2021, Dory has quickly become one of the most respected fine-dining experiences in Memphis with their approach of a tasting menu.
That dining approach wasn’t always the plan for co-owners Dave and Amanda Krog. Instead, it became the staple due to the pandemic and limitations to the number of guests they were allowed during that time.
Dory will soon have a new-look menu and dining concept coming this year when they transition into a more traditional full-service, ala carte menu on Thursday, August 3. The emphasis and attention to locally sourced ingredients will still be the same.

“We’ve watched this concept evolve over time and with an ala carte training service behind us,” Krog said. “We are especially thrilled about the transformation of energy in the dining room.”
Visitors and patrons can still reserve seats for the four-course tasting menu on Tuesday evenings until July 25. The six-course tasting menu will run until Saturday, July 29. For lovers of the tasting menu experience, it won’t be going away completely.
Guests can enjoy a limited ala carte menu through July 29 until the new menu launches.

Don’t miss out on Dory’s happy hour specials featuring half-priced bar snacks from 4 to 6 p.m. Happy hour is offered Tuesday through Thursday,
Reservations at Dory are highly recommended but will no longer be required. Make reservations via Resy, their website, or by calling 901-310-4290.
