Lucy J’s Bakery opened in 2018 as a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing job training and living wage employment for parents who have lived – or who currently live — at the Dorothy Day House (DDH). The faith-based shelter provides temporary housing and support for unhoused families.

Nike and the FedEx St. Jude Championship partnered to create a Summer Series program featuring five events to celebrate Memphis’ vibrancy.

The FedEx St. Jude Championship is coming up on August 14-18 at TPC Southwind where the top 70 players in the FedExCup Playoffs compete. It’s a super fun event–even if you’re not a huge golf fan! It’s a Memphis-must to attend.

Open for 28 years, Mid-South Hobbies is a locally owned superstore for all things remote control vehicles, vintage model trains, craft kits, needlework, games, and toys. The list really goes on with their 16,000 square feet of space.

Recently, they expanded to build an outdoor track where people can take their remote cars and more for a drive.
