Dory to Transition to Full-Service Restaurant

For the last two years, the beloved Dory Restaurant operated with a tasting-menu experience. The menu and service is about to get much bigger.

Since opening in March of 2021, Dory has quickly become one of the most respected fine-dining experiences in Memphis with their approach of a tasting menu.

That dining approach wasn’t always the plan for co-owners Dave and Amanda Krog. Instead, it became the staple due to the pandemic and limitations to the number of guests they were allowed during that time.

A new Castalia Heights restaurant has two menus with two kitchens to serve up a fusion of vegan and meat dishes.

A House Divided: Plants vs. Meats

Arnold’s Smokehouse is the creation of a brother-sister duo: Shanon and Ivy Arnold. Shanon is the head chef with a deep culinary background. He’s not a vegan. However, his sister Ivy is a longtime vegan who helped inspire the restaurant as equally vegan as it is a smokehouse.

The new upscale Irish pub is located in East Memphis at 6161 Poplar Ave. in the Regalia Shopping Center and underwent a $2.5 million renovation before opening with no details spared.

New Wing Order Has A Restaurant On Beale Street

One of Memphis' favorite hot wing food trucks will open their first brick-and-mortar restaurant on Beale Street! After years as a food truck traveling around town, owners Jesse McDonald and Cole Forrest knew they wanted to eventually have a brick and mortar restaurant.

They eventually connected with Ghost River Brewing owner Bob Keskey, who opened a second taproom on Beale Street last summer.
