Don't forget that next week is the special Mother's Day edition of the Mystery Train, complete with a live, in-studio interview with my mom, the one and only Kim Crawford. If you've got any questions for her, leave them in the comments and I'll ask them on air.

There are few things that will make one appreciate a grocery store quite like throwing a Native American hunting spear.

Assignment #122 in the 365 Things to Do in Memphis is to try it at the C.H. Nash Musuem at Chucalissa.

Maybe it's its location attached to the Westin Hotel or it's fusion menu and trendy lounge, but Bleu seems more Manhattan than Memphis. The space operated for years as a high-end seafood restaurant called Sole. Last October, the hotel hired Chef Robert Nam Cirillo and reopened the restaurant as Bleu, a sleek, polished restaurant and lounge.

When I announced the Grizzlies Show Your Colors contest last week, I was expecting a lot of growl towels and Z-BOing. I wasn't expecting custom Grizzlies shoes, wall-shrines and an entire bobblehead team.

Ed. note: The nice thing about living in a music city is that we get a ton of great live shows every single month. The tough thing, however, is deciding which bands to see. With that in mind, here are 10 recommendations for shows you won't want to miss this month:

1. Star & Micey with Memphis Dawls, Amy LaVere and Caroline Jones, A. Schwab, May 3, 9 p.m. $15 all ages

If you've driven down Sam Cooper or Broad Ave. in the past year, you've probably seen the giant, primary colored mural by French street artist Guillaume Alby (aka REMED). If you haven't, you're missing out on one of the most incredible pieces of public art in Memphis.

In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the trading floors of the Memphis Cotton Exchange could rivail anything on present-day Wall Street. Assignment #118 in the 365 Things to Do in Memphis is to see the historic floor (and the museum that lives there now).

If you've been hearing calliope music downtown for the past few days, it's coming from the American Queen, a brand new riverboat that's docked for the first time at Beale St. Landing.

The ship, which is owned by the Memphis-based Great American Steamboat Company, is easily the fanciest thing on the Mississippi.
