Zam Zamz Mediterranean Grill is Kind of a Miracle

If you didn't know to look for Zam Zamz Mediterranean Grill, you might not find it. The restaurant, with its unassuming facade, is in a shopping center in front of a shopping center across from a shopping center near Winchester and Bill Morris Parkway. Why is it a miracle? First, it's unusual that a family-owned restaurant would be hidden amongst a Wingstop, Genghis Grill, Cheddar's, and an Olive Garden (the TGIFridays and Logan's Roadhouse are across the street).

Save the Date for Purge Fest and #ilovememphis Roundup: Fly Fishing in Overton Park Edition

Here's a selection of your posts to Twitter and Instagram tagged #ilovememphis. My favorite is definitely this one of a gentleman "fly-fishing" in the "lake" at Overton Park from Instagram user @thememphisway. Note: I Love Memphis does not condone this behavior since I am pretty sure this is not technically allowed.

Don't forget to tag your pictures #ilovememphis and you might be featured in the future.

This Saturday is the Very First Moon River Music Festival - (Giveaway Ended)

This Saturday marks the first year for the Moon River Music Festival, a project from Memphis native Drew Holcomb. In addition to being the headliner with his band The Neighbors, Drew will bring a group of Southern (many from Tennessee) musicians to play all day long at the Levitt Shell.

This is not one of the Levitt Shell's free shows; tickets are $25 for all day access, which is a great deal.
