It's one of the most Memphis things you can do all year and it's completely free.

Picture this: a perfect April afternoon, the kind Memphis does better than just about anywhere. You're strolling tree-lined streets in one of the city's most beloved neighborhoods, cold drink in hand, and every few houses there's a band on somebody's front porch absolutely throwing down.

Craft Bars are popping up all over the place, and they've finally made it to Memphis thanks to local creative and experienced art instructor, Anna House! 

Tender Hearts Craft Pop-Up Bar will be the first of many craft bars, but it isn't the only workshop Anna has brought into the community. From flash tattoo embroidery to cyanotype workshops, Anna is bringing many unique creative outlets to the Memphis area.

Massey Lane is a rock band composed of members, in no particular order of rock-ability, Grant Carr, Miles Norwood, Phillip Dominguez, and Logan Harvey.

We sat down with them to discuss their process as writers, their experience as a rock band in Memphis, and more.

Like Really Creative was built on the idea that immersing yourself in creativity can remedy feelings of isolation. Zack Orsborn, founder of Like Really Creative, was experiencing a lack of connection to his own creative outlets and felt a desire to “find [his] people.”
