Germantown women's boutique with clothing, jewelry, accessories, and shoes.

Whenever I’m on the hunt for trendy, fashion forward clothes or accessories, I make sure to stop by MOZELLE boutique, a cute women’s boutique located in Germantown, TN. Open since 2005, MOZELLE offers a fun (and affordable) selection of today’s latest styles and trends.

You can find new apparel, jewelry, shoes and accessories everyday but Saturday, and their team of stylists work together to provide a fun environment that encourages women of all ages to express themselves through fashion.

Owner Karrie Forbes was only 19 when the doors of her dream boutique opened, and it’s now one of the most popular womens boutiques in the Greater Memphis Area.

On my last visit (where I found the perfect neutral, oversized button-up that I’ll live in all Spring), I had a chance to finally meet Karrie and chat with her briefly about the store and how it came to be.

Q&A with MOZELLE Boutique Owner Karrie Forbes

Kim: Why Germantown for your location?

Karrie: When I was younger, everyone went to Germantown to shop with Saddle Creek and unique boutiques, so I knew when it came time to open my store that’s where I wanted to be!

Kim: What do you feel sets MOZELLE apart from other boutiques?

Karrie: I feel that MOZELLE may be different from other boutiques because of our price points and style. I spend many weeks during the year traveling to NYC (pre pandemic of course), Atlanta, and LA to pick out cute, trendy, unique pieces to bring back to Germantown that are well priced without sacrificing quality!

Kim: What’s your favorite part about owning a boutique?

Karrie: I would have to say the relationships I’ve built with my customers and helping them find the perfect outfit. Being on my sales floor is for sure my favorite part!

Kim: How can people shop with you/keep up with what’s happening with the store?

Karrie: You can shop with us online at www.mozelleboutique.com (only our best-sellers are on there) or on our Instagram @mozelleboutique where we post new arrivals daily. And of course by coming into the store to see us!

Kim's Tips

When all else fails, I always, always, always, find really trendy jewelry, boots or handbags when I shop at MOZELLE. They carry Golden Goose Sneaker dupes for a fraction of the cost (IYKYK), and I never leave without a pair or two of earrings. I’m also still thinking about a bootie I SHOULD have gotten last year that’s since sold out, so if you see it and love it, GET IT!
