Evelyn & Olive is a hidden gem of a restaurant in an unassuming building in the Edge District. The couple who owns it (from Jamaica by way of Brooklyn) serve Jamaican and Southern fare. I've been several times, and I usually order the Black Bean Tacos (crunchy shell, combo of tofu and black beans, with kiwi salsa). Sometimes I want something different than gastropub fare.
