Win a Pair of Tom's, On One Condition
I've got two pairs of Tom's shoes from Lansky 126 to give away to two lucky readers. There's just one small catch.
Because I featured the Tom's in my annual holiday gift guide (and because for every pair of Tom's sold, a pair is donated to someone in need), you can't keep the shoes for yourself.
Random Memphis-Named Item of the Week
Memphis lends its name to all kinds of things - barbecue restaurants in other cities, an Austrailian frozen treat, European cigrarettes, an Italian design movement.
And, at American Apparel, a pair of socks.
Made in Memphis: Becca Belz Earrings
If I had pierced ears, I would be all about these blue stone and chain earrings by local jewelry designer Becca Belz.

Attention, budget fashionistas - there's a magical place in east Memphis where both your high-end tastes and thin wallet can be satisfied.
Celery is located in an appropriately celery colored converted house on Brookhaven Circle in East Memphis. They bill themselves as an "upscale ladies resale" boutique, which means that when people are done with their designer goods, they can bring them to Celery to sell on consignment.

K'PreSha Adds Some Style to South Main
South Main's newest boutique has a hard to pronounce name, but is easy to love.
K'PreSha (pronounced ka-PREE-shay) opened a few blocks south of Beale St. about two months ago.
Owner Kimberly Taylor has stocked the store with men's and women's clothing, accessories, shoes and bags. All of the pieces (which range from smart, casual tops to party dresses) have a sort of chic, downtown edge to them.
