Meet sisters Ashley and April Foxx. They're the author and illustrator of "Keisha Cane and Her Very Sweet Tooth", a super cute children's book about a little girl with a serious sugar craving.

Here, they answer my question about their inspriations, their favorite books, and the things they love most about Memphis.

(Side note: when I was in college, there was an on-campus super hero named Happy Friday Guy. He rode through campus on a scooter at noon on Fridays, throwing candy and yelling "HAPPY FRIIIIIIIIDAY!" We need one a Memphis version.)

Remember 96x? Remeber the impressive line-up of alternative rock that aired on 96.1 FM in the mid to late 1990s? Remember how sad you were when you woke up on April 1st, 1999 (I think it was 1999) to find out that the station had switched to an oldies format for real, not as an April Fool's joke?

Today, rumors are flying that the beloved alt-rock station might be back. The main evidence is front page of http://96xmemphis.com, which says "It's 2013...WE'RE BACK."

Monday, April 15th is the last day to file your taxes (without a pesky extension). In Memphis, it's also a day of rejoicing, as a local beer distributor is giving away special edition Grizzlies cans of Coors Light.
