MORE FATHER’S DAY IDEAS:
Dads love golf
Hit a round at one of Memphis’ golf courses or hit Topgolf. I have a sneaky suspicion that this will be a busy day so get those golf bays booked now! Or you can visit a golf-themed bar in South Main at Birdies Golf Bar where golf is on the TVs to watch or you can play on one of their several simulators. In East Memphis, make reservations (needed!) at Topgolf Swing Suites at Erling Jensen Small Bites which has two Top Golf simulators.
Do a Brewery Tour
For the craft-beer loving dads, cool off with a beer or two at one of Memphis’ many taprooms. Cooper House Project in Cooper-Young is one of the newest taprooms to open. Sip your way through Memphis' beer scene and book a tour with City Brew Tours (they drive, you drink!). Click here for a list of all the local breweries.
For the dad's who love to game
For the dad who isn't too cool for games, hit FLIP SIDE Pinball bar by Crosstown or Nerd Alert Arcade in Carriage Crossing. For the more adventurous fun dads, AMUSE Adventure Museum is a gaming facility with 35+ themed rooms to escape and explore or go to their two Memphis Escape Room locations. For an outoor event, there's Go Ape Zipline and Adventure Park.`
We love a cool bar
For the cool dads, hit one of Memphis’ bars like Inkwell, Cameo, Cove, Memphis Whistle, Hernando’s Hideaway, Alex’s Tavern, Bar DKDC, Bog & Barley, and more. Or! Book a tasting tour at Old Dominick Distillery and try some of their Tennessee Whiskey. You can also have a cocktail and sample at their bar too.
Explore Bass Pro Shops at Pyramid
Nothing says dad more than the Bass Pro Shop. Let dad pick out a gift, grab a bite, watch some fish. Maybe do some bowling? Sounds like a good dad’s day.
