Description:

Beale Street Saturday Night is an immersive auditory and visual

experience in a possibly haunted space full of magic and voodoo.

Founded in 1876, A. Schwab has seen some things, but nothing like

this…an experience that lifts you out of the realm of reality and into

a state where art is all that matters.

The dark wave echos of Optic Sink anchor ‘Beale Street Saturday Night’

with interludes from their live-score album, Relentless Metamorphosis.

Infinity Stairs, an immersive projection and bespoke visuals concern,

provides live projection mapping, handmade special effects, and analog

anomalies to keep your eyes enthralled while your ears are involved.

New to the scene in this configuration, We Live on the New Madrid

(made up of members of The Grifters, Impala, Halfacre Gunroom, and

Crystal Palace) plays songs from their Our Fault demo and wind their

way through new and improvised material, which is where this

saxophone-and-guitar-lead instrumental band shines with cinematic

splendor.

Jenny Davis opens the show quietly with a haunting, solo piece for the

flute that you do not want to miss.

DJ Kitschy Kat spins records starting at 7:00 pm and continues

throughout the evening to keep the vibes alive and in prime time.

This is not just another show; it's a happening! It’s artists with art

in mind creating what they would like to see in the world. With film,

projection mapping, records, elements of chamber music, and live

musical improvisation in an historic building on one of the world's

most infamous and recognizable streets, this evening promises to be

something.
