Hush Y’all: It’s time for the FedEx St. Jude Championship

Grab your “Hush Y'all” signs. It’s almost time to hit TPC Southwind for one of the most underrated and fun sporting events to hit Memphis each year.

The FedEx St. Jude Championship tees off August 12-16, 2026, at TPC Southwind. It’s the thrilling start for the FedEx Cup Playoffs where the top 70 players compete on one of the toughest courses. Coming in from out of town? Check out this guide here.

One of the most important things to know is that two kids (15 and under) attend free for every ticketed adult and food and non-alcoholic beverages are included in every ticket.

WHAT'S NEW IN 2026

Grounds+ Tickets

Tournament organizers heard the feedback and delivered: every grounds ticket now comes with Grounds+. At each Grounds+ market-style concession stand, you'll get one entree, one snack and one non-alcoholic beverage per visit and there's no limit on how many times you come back for more. Find the Grounds+ marketplaces at The Lookout, 14 Tee, 12 Fairway, 3 Tee and the 18 Green Courtyard. It's the same great access to fan zones, viewing areas, entertainment and merchandise you know and love, just with more value built in from the moment you walk through the gate.

Specialty concessions (not included with Grounds+):

  • The Commissary at The Pit (near holes 8 and 9) — BBQ nachos, pulled pork, brisket
  • Birdies & Bubbles returns, near No. 16
  • Pronto Pups at The Hub and 14 Tee
  • Snowbirds snow cones at the Courtyard and 14 Tee

Michelob ULTRA Club

Returning again for an upgraded experience, tournament goers can purchase a ticket for the Michelob ULTRA Club, an open-air, shared venue located directly behind the 11th island green. It's inclusive of beer, seltzer, soda and water, with premium spirits available for purchase, plus free food through the Grounds+ program. Check fedexchampionship.com/tickets for current availability and pricing.

COURSE ACTIVATIONS AND EXPERIENCES

Michelob Ultra Bar at No. 14

If you're looking for the most fun hole on the course, this is it. The Michelob Ultra Bar sits near No. 14, and every time a player makes a birdie there, it unlocks five minutes of $ Michelob Ultras at The Dock. It draws a great crowd, and people really get into it so it's worth planting yourself here for a while.

Patriot's Outpost presented by Big River Steel

Located on the 8th green, Patriot's Outpost is a dedicated hospitality venue exclusive to active-duty military members, veterans and one guest.

BEST TRADITIONS IN GOLF

The FedEx St. Jude Championship has the best traditions in golf from the purple Hush Y’all signs to the recognition of St. Jude patients. (You can buy your own Hush Y’all sign at the championship store during it too.) Once the volunteers raise those Hush Y’all signs, fans know to go silent and they do – quieting down in just seconds.

Most importantly, though, the FedEx St. Jude Classic is a fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. More than $80 million has been raised for St. Jude since the initial partnership in 1970 when it was known as the Danny Thomas Memphis Classic.

The best part is on the final 18th hole where St. Jude patients serve as honorary pin flag caddies. Don’t forget to look out for the “We (heart) St. Jude” banner that’s always draped from a home near the 18th hole plus even more around the course.

TIPS TO KEEP IN MIND

Wear your walking shoes.

The experience is up to you! Post up at a hole (18th is always a good call) or follow your favorite golfer from hole to hole. Either way, good shoes are a must.

Sun Screen, water, and hats are a must.

Put on a visor and lather up. It gets hot out there, and shade is limited outside of a few trees and bleacher sections. You're allowed to bring your own water bottle (no larger than 32 oz), and there are complimentary hydration stations around the course plus unlimited water through Grounds+.

Download the course map in advance

The course is long, and you don't want extra walking because you didn't know where to go. Check the fan guide for the latest course map and event info.

Phones on silent and abide by all hush y'all signs.

Just don't be that guy.

Outdoor chairs are allowed

You can bring in camping chairs with your ticket, as long as they're not in a sleeve, oversized or fitted with extended footrests. No seat cushions with pockets or compartments either.

Find a public bleacher

Don't want to bring a chair but don't want to stand all day? Public bleacher seating can be found at holes 1, 11, 14 and 16. Thanks to BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee for sponsoring this!

How to get autographs from your favorite players.

Head to the Official Autograph Zone behind the practice putting green which is the one and only spot for autographs. No outside autograph paraphernalia (like pin flags from other tournaments) can be brought in.

Here's what you need to know about parking.

Parking is limited, so reserve your pass in advance. Passes are fulfilled digitally and won't be sold on-site. General parking is $20 (plus taxes and fees, limit two per person per day) and is located at FedEx Headquarters, 3640 Hacks Cross Road, available Wednesday, August 12 through Sunday, August 16. Heading out Wednesday for the family-friendly activities and Pro-Am? Complimentary parking is available in Lot C, off Winchester Road, with direct access to the course via the No. 17 green.

Rideshare is a great option for this.

The rideshare drop-off/pick-up is located near 3400 Players Club Parkway, between the No. 1 green and No. 2 tee. Just enter "FedEx St. Jude Championship" as your destination, and when you're ready to leave, exit through the rideshare gate and follow signage to the pickup area.

Clear or small bags only.

Fans can bring in a clear bag (12"x6"x12") or a small bag (6"x6"). Check the full bag policy before you head out. Here is what approved and what's not.

This is (mostly) cashless.

Grounds+ covers your food and non-alcoholic drinks, but you'll still want a credit card for alcohol, specialty items and merch.
