Hush Y’all: It’s time for the FedEx St. Jude Championship

Grab your “Hush Y'all” signs. It’s almost time to hit TPC Southwind for one of the most underrated and fun sporting events to hit Memphis each year.

The FedEx St. Jude Championship tees off August 6-10, 2025, at TPC Southwind. It’s the thrilling start for the FedEx Cup Playoffs where the top 70 players compete on one of the toughest courses. Coming in from out of town? Check out this guide here.

Plus, did you know two kids (15 and under) attend free for every ticketed adult?

COURSE ACTIVATIONS AND EXPERIENCES

Michelob Ultra Athletic Club

For an upgraded experience, tournament goers can purchase a ticket for the Michelob Ultra Athletic Club, an open-air and shaded tent with great views of the 11th hole.

This tent includes beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Cost per ticket ranges from $250 - $275 depending on the day you purchase. It is first-come, first-serve basis, for a seat. Friday and Saturday tickets are sold out.

Course Activations

Your favorite fan activations like Birdies & Bubbles, 18th & Mane, The Bluff at 14 and The Pit return for the 2025 competition plus some new food additions!

NEW | Scottie's Chicken Shack

In good humor fun, Netflix brings Scottie's Chicken Shack. This is a nod to the viral scene from Happy Gilmore 2 (where Scottie and so many other pros make cameos) AND that infamous arrest from 2024 which the movie pokes fun at. At Scottie's Chicken Shack, you can get some chicken fingers and pose with Scottie in jail backdrop.

Birdies & Bubbles

Brought to you by two favorites in Memphis, chefs Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman. The chicken sandwich is a must-eat while you watch golfers take on the No. 14 green. Access this cozy and shaded venue off the No. 16 fairway.

The Pit

Can be found between No. 8 green and No. 9 tee. Another shaded area to escape too while grabbing a good bite to eat. The Commissary will be serving up their signature dishes here.

18th Green Courtyard

You'll find the Tito's Golf Club, a fully air-conditioned spot to grab a drink and cool off, and locally owned hot spot Smackers serving up burgers, wings, and more.

18th & Mane

Located along the 18th fairway of course, offers food, drinks and games. Here you'll find the PGA TOUR Fan Shop, the Coca-Cola Bayard, Torchy's Tacos, Pronto Pups and The Hub which offers air-conditioned and fun activations and games from sponsors.

The Bluff at 14

If the tournament itself is fun think of this as the ultimate ground zero of entertainment. Enjoy the breeze off the water of No. 14 at the brand-new Dock, where you can enjoy a cocktail by a newly built dock over the water. This is the same area where you can also find Birdies & Bubbles, a Michelob ULTRA bar, and shaded public bleachers.

Hopefully you get lucky and see a birdie for a discounted beer. Every time a birdie drops on hole 14, fans score five minutes of $5 Michelob ULTRA.

BEST TRADITIONS IN GOLF

I don’t care that you can get a $1.50 pimento cheese sandwich at the Masters. The FedEx St. Jude Championship has the best traditions in golf from the purple Hush Y’all signs to the recognition of St. Jude patients. (You can buy your own Hush Y’all sign at the championship store during it too.)

Once the volunteers raise those Hush Y’all signs, fans know to go silent and they do – quieting down in just seconds.

Most importantly, though, the FedEx St. Jude Classic is a fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Last year, the event raised about half a million dollars for the hospital.

More than $80 million has been raised for St. Jude since the initial partnership in 1970 when it was once called the Danny Thomas Memphis Classic. There are many ways you’ll notice nods to St. Jude during the championship tournament. St. Jude isn’t just in the name – it’s immersed into the entire tournament experience.

The best part is on the final 18th hole where St. Jude patients serve as honorary pin flag caddies. Don’t forget to look out for the “We (heart) St. Jude” banner that’s always draped from a home near the 18th hole.

TIPS TO KEEP IN MIND

Wear your walking shoes.

The experience is up to you whether you want to do a lot of walking. You can post up at a hole (the 18th is always recommended) or you can follow your favorite golfer from hole-to-hole – or do a little bit of both. Regardless, good shoes are a must.

Sun Screen, water, and hats are a must.

Put on a visor and lather up. It can get hot out there and there isn’t a ton of shade aside from some trees you can hide under. You're allowed to bring in your own water bottle (no larger than 32 oz). In need of water? There are complimentary hydration stations around the course!

Download the course map in advance

The course is long. You don't want to do any extra walking because you didn't know where to go. Also, you'll want to know exactly where that free water is. Click here for the course map.

Phones on silent and abide by all hush y'all signs.

Just don't be that guy.

Outdoor chairs are allowed

Don't worry about having to stand all day. The PGA TOUR will allow you to bring in camping chairs with your ticket as long as they are not in a sleeve or oversized with extended footrests. Relax, save your feat, and post up at your favorite hole! No seat cushions in a carrying case or that have pockets/compartments.

Find a public bleacher

Don't want to bring a chair but don't want to stand all day? There are four public bleachers with shaded seating on holes 1, 11, 14 & 16. Thanks to BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee for sponsoring this!

How to get autographs from your favorite players.

Looking to snag that signature from your fav? Head to the Official Autograph Zone located behind the practice putting green. This is the one and only place to try and get an autograph. No autograph paraphernalia can be brought into the championship. I.e. pin flags from other tournaments or items intended to be sold.

Here's what you need to know about parking.

Parking is limited. You can keep scrolling and purchase a parking pass in advance for their lots. General parking ($20) is located at the FedEx Headquarters at 3640 Hacks Cross Road. It's recommended that fans reserve parking passes in advance because they are fulfilled digitally.

Handicap parking is available at Lot GEN. Guests will be shuttled there to the main tournament entrance. Inside, mobility impaired golf cart shuttles will be available to take guests to stops around the course.

For those looking to take advantage of the family-friendly activities on Wednesday, including the Pro-Am, fans are welcome to complimentary parking in Lot C, onsite off Winchester Road with direct access to the course via No. 17 green.

Rideshare is a great option for this.

Because parking is limited, rideshare is encouraged. Enter “FedEx St. Jude Championship” as your destination and tournament guests will be dropped off near the rideshare entrance. When leaving the course, exit tournament grounds through the Rideshare entry to the designated pick-up area.

Clear or small bags only.

Nothing is worse than getting to the front of a line about to enter an event to find out your bag isn't allowed. Fans are only allowed to bring in a clear bag (12”x6”x12”) or a small bag (6”x6”). Still large enough to pack in that sunscreen! Here is what approved and what's not.

This is cashless.

Don't forget your credit card!
