April in Memphis means one thing: too many good events and not enough weekends. Between the crawfish festivals, outdoor concerts, rooftop parties, and everything in between, you're going to need a strategy or just accept that you can't do it all and show up anyway. Here's what's on tap.

Memphis Redbirds at AutoZone Park Opening Week 

Begins March 31, 2026 

The Memphis Redbirds kick off the 2026 season at AutoZone Park on March 31 against the Norfolk Tides. Opening Week is packed with fun from the Toy Story-themed To Infinity & the Ballpark on April 3, to a visit from Bluey & Bingo on April 4, to an Easter celebration complete with egg hunts and baskets on April 5. The Gwinnett Stripers come to town April 16–19 for another homestand. With 8 home games in April, there are plenty of reasons to get out to the ballpark. Season-long Ballpark Passes start at just $99, or grab 901 Tickets for $9.01 per game in Section 116.

Loflin Yard 10th Birthday Block Party 

April 3, 2026 | 11 a.m.–11 p.m. 

Loflin Yard celebrates a full decade in Memphis with an all-day block party at 7 W. Carolina Ave. Enjoy live music from the Mighty Souls Brass Band, The Bugaloos, and Dead Soldiers, plus local vendors, pet adoptions, and raffles supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Streetdog Foundation. No cover until 6 p.m.
 


Memphis Farmers Market — 20th Season! 

Saturdays, April 4–October 2026 | 8 a.m.–1 p.m. 

The Memphis Farmers Market turns 20 this year, and the celebration starts on opening day, April 4. Every Saturday through October, head to 566 South Front Street for fresh food, local vendors, and one of Memphis' longest-running community traditions. Leashed dogs welcome, SNAP/EBT benefits accepted, and ample parking is available in the Malco lot.

3rd Annual Memphis Cocktail Festival 

April 4, 2026 | 6–10 p.m. 

Raise a glass at Minglewood Hall for an evening of craft cocktails, food trucks, and live music. Your ticket includes unlimited spirit and cocktail samples, with food available for purchase. 21+ only; valid ID required.

Memphis Vintage Market at Crosstown Concourse 

April 4, 2026 | 10 a.m.–5 p.m. 

Shop two floors of vintage clothing, jewelry, accessories, and home goods from a packed lineup of vendors at Crosstown Concourse — plus, for the first time ever, local art for sale. Free entry and parking. 1350 Concourse Ave. 


Sapphire Golf Tour 

April 9–12, 2026 

The Sapphire Golf Tour brings a major women's professional sporting event to Links at Pine Hill, showcasing elite women of color and creating visible pathways for the next generation of golfers. This weekend is bigger than golf — it's a citywide moment for sports equity, national visibility, and introducing the game to young people who rarely see it as "for them." Tickets range from $25 to $250.
 


Jeff Dunham: Artificial Intelligence Tour 

April 10, 2026 | 7 p.m. 

Ventriloquist and comedy legend Jeff Dunham brings his Artificial Intelligence Tour to FedExForum for a night of laughs with the whole gang — Walter's endless grumbling, Peanut's manic energy, Bubba J's beer-soaked wisdom, José Jalapeño's perfect timing, and yes, Achmed is back. The show takes on the AI era with fresh material roasting everything from chatbots to social media, all filtered through the characters that made Dunham a household name. Tickets on sale now.


Tattoo Fest Memphis 

April 10–12, 2026 | 1–10 p.m. 

The 3rd annual Tattoo Fest Memphis takes over the Graceland Exhibition Center with over 200 artists from around the world for three days of live tattooing, art, merch, and more. Book your session in advance or snag a walk-up spot on a first-come, first-served basis. Not getting inked? There's still plenty to enjoy — vendor booths, tattoo contests, and the chance to watch world-class artists practice their craft. Single-day pass $30; three-day weekend pass $65.
 


Hattiloo Presents: Ma Rainey's Black Bottom 

April 10–May 9, 2026 | 7:30–9:30 p.m. 

Hattiloo Theatre closes out Season 19 with August Wilson's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom. It's 1927, and the "Mother of the Blues" is in a rundown Chicago studio refusing to surrender control of her music, while her headstrong trumpet player dreams of building a name of his own. Tensions rise as ambition, racism, self-worth, and exploitation collide in a story that goes far beyond the music. PG-13. Visit hattiloo.org for tickets and showtimes.
 


Taste the Rarity 

April 11, 2026 | 4–8 p.m. 

Wiseacre's biggest party of the year is back for its 11th round. Taste the Rarity is a specially curated beer festival featuring breweries from all over the country — your ticket gets you a wristband, taster glass, and four hours of unlimited pours. New this year: a live concert open to the public runs alongside the ticketed festival. Beer, fun, and weirdness — just the way Wiseacre likes it.
 


Shop Black Fest

April 11, 2026 | 1–6 p.m. 

Shop Black Fest returns to Memphis at Bass Pro Drive and Riverside Drive for a full day of shopping, food, music, and real support for Black-owned businesses. If you've been before, you already know the energy — if you haven't, this is your year.

Spirit Fest Holistic, Metaphysical & Crystal Expo 

April 11–12, 2026 | 10 a.m.–6 p.m. (Sunday until 5:30 p.m.) 

Spirit Fest returns to the Agricenter International with thousands of high-quality crystal specimens, intuitive readers, energy and sound healers, aura photography, mediumship sessions, organic skincare, massage, and more. Speakers are included with admission, and the whole event is indoors with free parking. General admission $11 single day/$17 weekend; kids 12 and under free.
 


Mimosa Festival Memphis 

April 12, 2026 | 11 a.m.–5 p.m. 

The Memphis Mimosa Festival is back on the river at Tom Lee Park for the ultimate Sunday funday. It's not just about the mimosas — it's the style, the live music, the local vendors, and some of the best food in Memphis. Think of it as every great Sunday brunch you've ever had, dialed up to festival scale. General admission $55. 21+; limited tickets available.
 


Memphis Botanic Garden Spring Plant Sale 

April 15–18, 2026 

Stock up on everything your yard, porch, and patio need at the Memphis Botanic Garden's Spring Plant Sale. Shop a curated selection perfectly suited for the Mid-South — natives, trees and shrubs, vegetables, herbs, annuals, pollinator favorites, houseplants, tropicals, and more — with plant pros on hand to help you pick winners. The fun kicks off with a 21+ Preview Party on April 15 from 5–8 p.m. (advance tickets required), followed by MBG member early access on April 16 from 10 a.m.–12 p.m., and open-to-the-public shopping April 16–18. Cashless event — credit and debit cards only.
 


Good Vibes Comedy Festival 

April 16–18, 2026 

The Good Vibes Comedy Festival returns to Memphis for its third year, bringing some of the country's best comedians to the Hi-Tone. Headlined by Jordan Rock, Malik B, Dante Chang, and Steven Briggs, the weekend lineup features stand-up, live podcasts, roast battles, and themed shows — something for every kind of comedy fan. Come out, get some laughs, and soak up the good vibes.
 


Peabody Rooftop Parties 

Thursdays Starting April 16, 2026 

The best rooftop party in Memphis is back. Every Thursday from April through August, The Peabody kicks off the weekend early with hot bands, cool drinks, and sky-high views of the sun setting over the Mississippi River. The season opens April 16 with Almost Famous, followed by Elevation Memphis on April 23 and Thumpdaddy on April 30. In the case of inclement weather, the party moves indoors to the Skyway Ballroom. 21+ only; tickets are non-refundable.
 


Science of Wine 

April 17, 2026 | 6:30–9 p.m. 

The Pink Palace Museum & Mansion pairs wine with, well, science for a full-proof fundraiser supporting STEAM education outreach. Sample wines and bites from some of Memphis' best — including Char, Ecco, Imagine Vegan Café, South of Beale, Erling Jensen, and more — while exploring hands-on science demos and education exhibits. VIP tickets include access to an exclusive tasting room. GA $70–$80; VIP $110–$120; designated driver $30–$35 (member discounts available).
 


Shell Daze Music Festival (Presented by MEMPHO) 

April 17–18, 2026 

Doors at 4 p.m. MEMPHO brings two nights of live music to the Overton Park Shell with Shell Daze Music Festival. Friday's lineup features Old Crow Medicine Show, Molly Tuttle, and The Last Revel, followed by Greensky Bluegrass, the Sam Grisman Project, and Bailey Bigger on Saturday. Grab a spot on the lawn and ease into the weekend.
 

Africa in April Cultural Awareness Festival 

April 17–19, 2026 | 8 a.m.–late 

Now in its 39th year, Africa in April returns to Beale Street and Robert R. Church Park for three days of fun, festivities, and food. This year's festival showcases the Republic of Guinea through education, economics, culture, fashion, arts and crafts, music, history, and cuisine. Friday kicks off with Children & Senior Citizens' Day and the International Diversity Parade at 10 a.m., Saturday brings Health, Wellness, Family & Community Day plus a Blues Showcase starting at 6 p.m., and Sunday closes it out with International Music Day. Free and open to all.
 


Memphis Football Spring Fest 

April 18, 2026 | 3 p.m.

 The Charles Huff era at Memphis kicks off as the Tigers host their annual spring event at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. Memphis Football Spring Fest is free and open to the public, giving fans their first look at the 2026 squad following the program's 12th consecutive bowl appearance. Additional fan experiences and game-day activities will be announced in the coming weeks. Season tickets are on sale now at GoTigersGo.com/tickets.
 

 

10th Annual Vintage901 Wine, Food & Music Spring Festival: Grand Tasting 

April 18, 2026 | 5–9 p.m. 

Vintage901 raises a glass to a full decade of wine, wisdom, and togetherness at the Scheidt Family Performing Arts Center. The flagship Grand Tasting features pours from Old World and New World wine producers, curated wine classes, chef demonstrations, and live Memphis music — plus the chance to chat directly with wine and food professionals. 21+
 


World Championship Hot Wing Contest & Festival 

April 18, 2026 | 11 a.m.–6 p.m. 

Fire up your taste buds at River Garden Park for the World Championship Hot Wing Contest & Festival. Sample award-winning wings from the Wing Capital of the World while enjoying live music on two stages, a parade led by the Memphis Second Line Jazz Band, a wing eating contest, and — new this year — a Soul Train Review Dance Contest. All the fun supports Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Tickets $21.22 online or $30 at the gate; children 8 and under free. The first 500 tickets sold include two Wing Bucks, good for two wings at the booth of your choice.
 


Cooper-Young Porchfest 

April 18, 2026 | 12 p.m. 

Cooper-Young Porchfest is back for year six, turning the eclectic porches of one of Memphis' most storied neighborhoods into a live music stage. Local bands set up across residents' front porches for a grassroots afternoon of sound, sunshine, and community — the kind of thing that only happens in Cooper-Young. Kick the day off early with the CYCA's annual community yard sale that morning, then follow the music from porch to porch all afternoon. Free and open to all.
 


Rajun Cajun Crawfish Festival 

April 19, 2026 | 11 a.m.–7 p.m. 

Porter-Leath's 33rd annual Rajun Cajun Crawfish Festival returns to Riverside Drive between Jefferson and Union with thousands of pounds of fresh Louisiana crawfish, more than 25 local food trucks, and live music from Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe and Freeworld on two stages. Get in on the crawfish bobbing, eating, and racing contests, or bring the kids to the Downtown Memphis Commission Kids Area in River Garden Park. Admission is free, and all proceeds support Porter-Leath programs serving over 40,000 local children, families, and early childhood educators.


SIX The Musical Tour

April 21–26, 2026 | Times Vary

The six wives of Henry VIII ditch the history books and grab the mic at the Orpheum Theatre in this global pop sensation that remixes 500 years of royal heartbreak into a high-energy, girl-power concert. With over a billion streams worldwide and a Broadway album that debuted at No. 1, SIX is the Tudor-era showdown you didn't know you needed. Recommended for ages 10+. Tickets $46.70–$151.60.
 


Alabama Shakes with Mon Rovîa 

April 22, 2026 

Be there for a Memphis milestone — Alabama Shakes headline the very first concert at the brand-new Grind City Amphitheater at Grind City Brewery. The highly anticipated outdoor venue is set to become a new cornerstone for live entertainment in Memphis, and there's no better way to christen the stage. Rising artist Mon Rovîa opens the evening. Hot Rods & Bike Nights on Beale 

April 22 & 28, 2026 | 6–10 p.m. 

Beale Street revs up twice in April with two monthly cruising traditions. Bike Night on Beale (April 22) brings motorcycle enthusiasts of every make, model, and year to the most iconic street in America — a family-friendly evening of chrome and bragging rights. Then Hot Rods on Beale (April 28) rolls in with the American Muscle Car Club and Perfect Nemesis Car Club showing off classic hot rods. Both events run the fourth week of the month through the fall and are free and open to all.

Jesus Christ Superstar 

April 24–May 17, 2026 | 8 p.m. (Sundays at 2 p.m.) 

Playhouse on the Square presents the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice rock opera telling the story of Jesus' final week through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. Set amid the political turmoil of Jerusalem, the show explores the complexities between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, and the disciples as popularity rises and anxiety over the consequences grows. Shelby Forest Spring Fest: Hillbilly Haven 

April 25, 2026 | 10 a.m.–5 p.m. 

Head out to Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park for a full day of family fun deep in the woods. Expect over 80 arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, crawfish, a beer and wine garden, live music, an antique car and tractor show, a kids zone with a mechanical bull, a hillbilly costume contest, and a hot sauce eating contest. Bring the whole family — and your inner hillbilly. Admission $5; free parking. Portions of proceeds go back to the park for wildlife conservation and beautification.
 


Café du Memphis 

April 25, 2026 | 10 a.m.–1 p.m. 

Memphis gets a taste of Louisiana as the Rotary Club of Memphis hosts Café du Memphis at St. Michael's Church. Enjoy shrimp and grits, beignets, and coffee alongside live music, local vendors, and family activities — all in support of the Dorothy Day House of Memphis, which provides temporary housing that keeps homeless families together. Come for the food, stay for the community spirit.
 


Overton Square Crawfish Festival 

April 25, 2026 | 11 a.m.–5 p.m. 

Round up your crew and head to Overton Square for mountains of juicy crawfish, live music, ice-cold beer, and a local artist market — all surrounded by the square's shops and eateries. Free admission; kids and leashed pets welcome.
 


The Millennium Tour Presents: B2K & Bow Wow — Boys 4 Life Tour 

April 26, 2026 | 7 p.m. 

The reunion two decades in the making hits FedExForum as B2K celebrates their 25th anniversary alongside Bow Wow on the Boys 4 Life Tour, presented by The Black Promoters Collective. The all-star lineup also features Amerie, Yung Joc, and more. Tickets on sale now.
