Hosted by the Rotary Club of Memphis, this beloved event transforms a Saturday into a celebration of Louisiana culture, community, and compassion—all to benefit the Dorothy Day House of Memphis, an organization dedicated to keeping homeless families together. A Taste of Louisiana in the Heart of Memphis Café du Memphis captures the charm of a Louisiana flare right in the Mid-South. Volunteers serve up a classic Louisiana delight, shrimp and grits, paired with beignets. Each dish is served in traditional bowls that invite guests to linger and enjoy the day, along with coffee and drinks. The event’s culinary offerings are prepared by Rotarians who share a passion for Louisiana cuisine.
