New Restaurants In Memphis
Slim & Husky’s
Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria opened in downtown Memphis in December 2020. As of 12/27, they’re open for takeout only—I highly recommend ordering online ahead of time for pickup; no orders taken by phone.

Little Bettie pizza and snack shack, from the owners of Hog & Hominy, opened inside the new Wiseacre taproom downtown in December. (The taproom opened this summer.)

Grind City Brewing
Grind City Brewing taproom opened to the public in October 2020. They have a large outdoor space and are open for “dine-in” (outside) or you can purchase growler fills and canned beer.

Vibe Foods superfoods restaurant opened on Poplar Ave. in East Memphis in October 2020.

Curfew opened in the Hilton Canopy hotel downtown in September 2020. As of 12/27, they’re open for limited dine-in, takeout, and have a heated, enclosed patio.

Hazel’s Lucky Deli Delicatessen opened in the former Bar DKDC location in September 2020. As of 12/27, they’re open for lunch only, takeout only. You can order online.

I Love Waffle Cream
Southall Cafe opened at Poplar and Mendenhall in August 2020. As of 12/27, they’re open for patio dining and takeout for breakfast, lunch, and brunch.

StickEm opened in the former Blue Nile location in midtown in August, with the same owners. The new concept combines menu favorites from Blue Nile Ethiopian Kitchen with items from the popular StickEm food truck.

Cocozza Italian American opened in July 2020 as a pop-up concept in the Majestic Grille location. They are closed for the holidays until Jan. 5, but will reopen with takeout (including curbside pickup), delivery via DoorDash, and bulk orders.
