Memphis Beer To-Go: Curbside and Delivery From Local Breweries For #NationalBEERDay
It’s National Beer Day! Just because we can’t gather on our favorite Memphis brewery patio doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy delicious, locally-made Memphis beer today (or any time while we’re still under Safer-At-Home orders).
Here’s how our Memphis-area brewers are making it easy and safe to enjoy their tasty cold beers:
Crosstown Brewing is open for curbside pickup on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from noon to 5 p.m. They also offer delivery on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m. ($5 fee; $36 minimum order). You can place your order for six-packs and cases of tasty faves like Siren, Traffic, and more online (it’s really simple) on their ordering website. Pickup address is 1264 Concourse Ave., it’s just west of the Concourse building.
Ghost River Brewing has curbside pickup at the taproom Tuesdays through Saturdays from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Call 901-661-4976 between 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. for next-day delivery; it’s one case minimum to have beer delivered, otherwise beer is available in six-packs only. Pickup address is 827 S. Main St.
High Cotton Brewing has temporarily closed their taproom as of Monday, April 6. You can still pick up delicious High Cotton brews from local beer retailers (read How To Not Be A Jerk While Shopping before you go) or from restaurants offering takeout and delivery beers.
Meddlesome Brewing is open for to-go, curbside pickup, and delivery. Their regular hours are Tuesday – Friday from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. , Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday noon to 7 p.m. but those are subject to change. Try the Tip Your Bartender, a “citrusy American wheat ale brewed with coriander”; 20 percent of the proceeds will go towards the Memphis Food Industry Emergency Worker Assistance fund. Call 901-207-1147 to order. Pickup address: 7750 B Trinity Rd. Suite 114 and 115.
