In other news:
- Flood update: the Mississippi River is now expected to crest at 48 feet in Memphis, which will affect Tom Lee Park, Mud Island and Riverside Drive. Everything on the bluff (Front St. and points east) should be just fine. Memphis in May has decided to move barbecue fest to Tiger Lane. If you're looking for a complete round-up of all things flood, Vibinc has a great one on his blog (that includes information on how to tell if your house is in the 100 year floodplain).
- Booker T. Washington High School is even closer to having President Obama speak at their graduation. They moved on from the voting round to be one of three finalist schools. The president will hand select the winning school.
- When I posted my guide to all things Belgian yesterday, I left something out - a complete list of all of the Belgian beer dinners happening around town this month. Luckily, FuzzyBrew was there to pick up the pieces.
- Good luck to the Grizzlies, who play game two in their series against the OKC Thunder tonight at 8:30 p.m. If your Grizz love is the kind that can only be expressed publicly, the FedExForum is having another free, public watch party in the arena.
