Record Store Day Leftovers, a Food Truck Party, and Memphis Most Nominations

365 Memphians - Laura Carpenter
Contrary to what a lot of people seem to believe, the person on my left is not me, nor is she my twin. She's my awesome roller derby teammate Malice Cullen (aka Laura Carpenter). In other news: - Tomorrow's a big day for the future of food trucks in Memphis. The City Council is having their final reading of a proposed food truck ordinance that would make it easier for mobile restaurants to set up shop around town. Show your support by eating lunch at the Food Truck Fare tomorrow. Yolo, Fuel Cafe, a Square Meal on Wheels, the Rolling Pit, and the CrepeMaker will be parked in Court Square from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Record Store Day may have been Saturday, but Goner and Shangri-La still have plenty of leftover copies of special RSD releases for sale. When I was at Goner yesterday, they had a limited run Beach Boys' single, some Sonic Youth and more. - The Commercial Appeal has opened up nominations for their annual Memphis Most reader's poll. Sadly, there's no best blogger category (though, best columnist, TV news and radio personality are represented).

They should totally have a best blogger category - but I guess everyone knows it's you...
