365 Things to Do in Memphis #165: Get it Homegrown at Jones Orchard

Some people (like me) are super picky about their produce. For those times when a grocery store just isn't good enough, there's the Pick Your Own orchard at Jones Orchard in Millington, Tenn. The orchard, which was founded in 1940, lets you grab a basket and head out into their groves in search of perfect blackberries, peaches, strawberries, blueberries and more.

Six Memphis Bartenders You Need To Know

Ed. Note: I Love Memphis has always tried to go beyond the usual suspects for food and drink options around town...to give you more than just the places that show up in a) every tourism article or b) every new hotspot. Stacey does just that in this post about her favorite bartenders around town.
I have a (bad) joke I tell about how my favorite bartender, Adam, will probably be the first to know when I’m dead. I’ve been sitting at his bar every Tuesday for the past decade.

Go Vegan For A Day At Two Vegan Sistas

Ed. Note: In 2018, Two Vegan Sistas closed their Bartlett restaurant. They have reopened as of November 2018, but they are now online ordering only - doing meal plans, catering, and bulk items that you order ahead of time. Even though the restaurant is closed, I want to leave up this article from when contributor Baylee and I sampled some of the Two Vegan Sistas food. Their mission is still the same: to serve lifestyle vegans and curious foodies plant-based and raw meals that taste delicious.

There will be free movies in Court Square this summer in downtown Memphis on Thursdays through June 23rd. Seating opens at 7:30 p.m. and movies start at 8 p.m. There will be food trucks, or you can bring your own food, or grab something from restaurants and shops in Harbor Town.

Food trucks will be at the events but we also encourage you to stop by your local food favorites in Downtown to grab a bite before the movie or bring it down to-go.

Here is the lineup:
