Here's where to watch fireworks in Memphis for July 4th in 2017, plus some other Independence Day celebrations in the Mid-South.
The events with fireworks are bold.
1. FedEx St.A few weeks ago, hundreds of zombies descended upon Beale Street and brave contributor Michael Butler managed to survive and capture these photos. For real, though, the annual Memphis Zombie Walk is a fundraiser for the Mid-South Food Bank and you can follow along on Facebook for details for next year's walk.
There will be free movies in Court Square this summer in downtown Memphis on Thursdays through June 23rd. Seating opens at 7:30 p.m. and movies start at 8 p.m. There will be food trucks, or you can bring your own food, or grab something from restaurants and shops in Harbor Town.
Food trucks will be at the events but we also encourage you to stop by your local food favorites in Downtown to grab a bite before the movie or bring it down to-go.
