Meet 14 Adorable, Adoptable Dogs and Cats from the Memphis Humane Society

This weekend, the Humane Society is hosting their second annual 36-hour Mega Adopt-a-thon. On Friday and Satuday, adoption fees for all eligble dogs and cats will be reduced to $36. If you're a brave early riser who can get to the Humane Society between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Friday, you can get $6 adoptions.

Inside the Sexy New Poplar Plaza Kroger

The brand new Kroger at Poplar and Highland is so cool that it's inspired a strange sort of grocery tourism, where people from other neighborhoods are ditching their normal, boring Kroger to shop at the sexy new store.

Kroger has taken the best parts of other Memphis-area Krogers (better prepared foods, bulk foods, build-your-own cupcake bars, etc.) and combined them into one super fancy Kroger.

The produce section is massive, and has a ton of organic options.
