This weekend, a legendary but lesser-known Memphis band is finally playing in front of a massive audience. "Nothing Can Hurt Me", aka, the Big Star documentary, is being released in theatres (including Studio on the Square) on Friday.

Dishcrawl is a new Memphis event that combines three of my favorite things - food, new friends and adventures - into a single, super fun evening.

Dishcrawls are a series progressive dinners where you and 40 other foodies eat your way through a specific neighborhood over the course of an evening. It's like a pub crawl, but with food instead of beers.

Next Tuesday, the Americanarama Festival is bringing Bob Dylan, Wilco and My Morning Jacket to Memphis for a concert at AutoZone Park. You could buy a ticket for $60 or so, or you could come find me this weekend.
