Shop Local: Primas Bakery & Boutique In South Main

*Editor's note: Primas Bakery + Boutique moved locations to East Memphis. You can find them at 734 Mt Moriah Rd with all the same beloved treats and goodies.

Seeing women come together in business will always be inspiring, so learning that cousins Angelique Sloan and Rachel Mullen decided to combine their respective businesses (Mucho + RM Petit Cakes, LLC) under one roof to open Primas Bakery + Boutique, a Latin-inspired lifestyle boutique in downtown Memphis, was double the fun!

About Primas Boutique & Bakery In Downtown Memphis

Primas means cousins in Spanish, so it was the perfect name for their business. Open since August 2018, their lifestyle boutique is filled with vibrantly colored clothing, accessories, gifts and home goods, while the bakery offers artisan delicacies including macarons, cupcakes and cookies.

Their business concept is such a unique offering in Memphis, so we knew a Shop Local feature was in order to help highlight the bold and colorful presence that their lifestyle store brings to South Main. I popped in recently to chat with Angelique (boutique side) and Rachel (bakery side) and to see what was new.
