Hyatt Centric Hotel Opens Rooftop Bar Beck & Call
Rooftop bar is here!
Rooftop bar is here!
The Hyatt Centric hotel is open at Beale and Front in downtown Memphis! Besides the hotel rooms and suites, locals can enjoy the ground floor restaurant and bar, CIMAS, and....drumroll please...the new downtown Memphis rooftop bar, Beck & Call!
Beck & Call opens today, May 1, 2021. They have a full food and drink menu. It's first-come, first-served and there are booths and bar seating inside and bench / mingling space outside on the rooftop patios.
DJ Alpha Whiskey is the house DJ for Saturday nights, and there is occasionally live music on Fridays and Sundays, too.
Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays - 6 p.m. until midnight
Sundays - 3 p.m. until midnight
The bar will eventually be open seven days a week, but they're starting with the extended weekend hours for now. The rooftop is only open during Beck & Call hours.
They have a full bar and food menu—know that I'll be sharing more about this ASAP. For now, take a look at the spaces and this amazing rooftop Memphis riverfront view.
The Pool at Hyatt Centric
The hotel's "resort style" pool* is neatly tucked in behind the building, with chairs, cabanas, a stage for live music, and a pool menu. We love to see it.
*I don't know what that means, but it sounds fun

About The Hyatt Centric Beale Street Hotel
The hotel is the first hotel on Beale Street, if you can believe that, and is located at Beale and Front. That's west of the Orpheum if you’re having trouble picturing it. It has 227 rooms and suites, a pool, and the aforementioned rooftop bar and restaurant Beck & Call. The hotel is dog-friendly for pups less than 50 pounds and has a host of other amenities you can check out on their website.
Next door the hotel proper, Hyatt has renovated the historic Ellis Machine Shop Building (keeping the facade Chic-Fil-A style) and you can be sure everyone and their mama will be getting married and having events there post-pandemic.
