Live In Studio A Summer Series feat. D’Monet


Join us at the Stax Museum every Tuesday in July from 2–4 PM for the Live in Studio A Summer Series, featuring a rotating lineup of talented Memphis musicians. From soul and R&B to contemporary sounds, each week offers a unique opportunity to discover the artists carrying Memphis music forward.

Admission is FREE for Shelby County residents as part of our weekly community admission program. Simply bring a valid ID and enjoy an afternoon of live music in one of Memphis’ most historic musical spaces.

Drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, and Stevie Wonder, D’Monet blends soul, R&B, gospel, and jazz influences into what she calls “Alkaline Music”—music designed to heal, uplift, and connect. Her heartfelt performances create space for audiences to reflect, celebrate, and be fully present in the moment.
