Description:

The Memphis Botanic Garden (MBG) is pleased to announce the return of Spring Blooms at the Garden, a weekly event series featuring seasonal flowers at the Garden each Saturday from March 30 to April 27. Take in the tulips, awe at the azaleas, and wander through the wildflowers at this celebration of spring.

Each Saturday different blooms are featured as they fill the Garden with pops of color, including spring ephemerals, tulips & hyacinths, Southern favorites, irises, and more. From 10 am-2 pm, visitors can enjoy a themed activity for the family, food trucks on-site for a picnic lunch, and more. Plus a signature cocktail and other spring spirits we’ll be available from our cash bar to enjoy as you stroll through the Garden.

Spring 2024 Schedule:

  • ●  March 30: Spring Ephemerals - Discover native wildflowers as they make their brief annual

appearance in our Woodlands. Plus don’t miss a guided Spring Ephemerals Walk with

Woodlands Horticulturist Anna Vo at 11:30 am.

  • ●  April 6: Tulips & Daffodils & Hyacinths–Oh My! - Tiptoe through the tulips...but don't forget

to enjoy the daffodils, hyacinths, and more that make spring come alive at the Garden.

  • ●  April 13: National Gardening Day - We’re celebrating National Gardening Day a day early. Get

the dirt on gardening while you dig into some family fun.
    ● April 20: Southern Delights - Azaleas and dogwoods delight throughout the Garden. Enjoy

these and other plants that thrive in a southern landscape. Plus don’t miss our Spring Plant Sale happening at the Nursery at the Garden.

● April 27: Iris-istable Blooms - Celebrate Tennessee's state flower as hundreds of varieties of irises steal the show in our Iris Garden.

The event is free with Garden admission. No reservations are required. Canceled if raining.
