Enamel Tiles

Fine Metals & Jewelry classes at the Metal Museum offer the opportunity to focus on specific projects while learning a variety of different metalworking techniques. These classes are a great fit for those interested in using metal to create small-scale or finer pieces. Classes are designed for students of any level, and no experience is necessary. Tools and materials are provided.

Learn to create enamel “paintings" with instructor Jo Bennett!

In this class, students will learn basic enameling techniques on copper to create art tiles of their own design. Various methods of manipulating enamel powders will be demonstrated along with drawing techniques and enamel additions. At the end of the day, students will have created at least one 4 inch tile ready to display at home as well as plenty of knowledge to get started with kiln fired enamel work.
