Description:
The Edgy Tomato Festival is a pedestrian-first, community-centric arts & food event that serves a diverse Memphis, engages the entire Edge District, and bring makers together, all while celebrating one of the crops that made us.
From 4-9PM on August 22nd, the intersection of Marshall & Monroe in the Edge District will be lined with small business market vendors & hands-on event activations, including photo ops & demos. There will also be food specials all over the Edge District, including tomato-themed dishes & drinks from Hard Times Deli, JEM Dining, Flyway Brewing, Kinfolk, Rootstock, Bar Limina, and more. Additionally, Ugly Art Co. will be hosting a community art show during the festival, which will include over 100 pieces of art! Attendees will be able to spend time indoors and outdoors to celebrate all things tomato!
The event will be the annual fundraiser for Edible Memphis, helping us continue telling the stories of the local food system.
