One of our absolute favorite things to do in Memphis is to see a Broadway show at the beautiful, classy historic Orpheum Theatre on Beale Street. Each season brings a variety of shows guaranteed to tap into your interests.

The theater itself has a long and interesting history, starting off as a vaudeville theater in the 1800s with numerous rebuilds and restorations (including after a devastating 1923 fire). Today's Orpheum still has the historic gilded ceilings, velvety carpets, and incredible performances. It's the perfect date night, friend-date night, or hang-out-with-your-mom activity.
