St. Patrick's Day Parade / Holly Whitfield
The Secret Order of Boll Weevils is always a highlight of the parade. You'll know them by their costumes and big green bus.

Beale Street St. Patrick's Day Parade

The biggest St. Patrick's Day party in town—and honestly, the biggest parade in Memphis, is hands down the Silky O'Sullivan's annual St. Patrick's Day parade down Beale Street. The streets are usually packed with people, there are floats, fancy cars, a bagpipe brigade, and a huge party at every Beale Street pub before and after, especially Silky O'Sullivan's.

Pro tip: The blessing of the kegs is usually at 4 p.m. with the parade starting shortly after that. There's also usually a "Raising of the Goat" ceremony at Silky's after.

Celtic Crossing party

Celtic Crossing takes St. Patrick's Day seriously. The party fills the patio and spills out onto the surrounding area. They have traditional Irish dancers, bagpipers, live music, giveaways and yes, green beer. There's always a cover and the party is strictly 21 and up in the evenings.

Cooper Young St. Patrick's Day Parade

This St. Patrick’s Day procession in the heart of Midtown features walking groups, folks on bikes, leprechauns, bagpipers and more. It's a low-key affair organized by the Memphis Irish Society and Celtic Crossing that usually kicks off at York next to Memphis Made Brewery and travels down Cooper Street to Walker.

Murphy's St. Patrick's Day Party

Everyone's favorite midtown Irish dive bar goes hard every year for St. Patrick's Day. There's usually a Blessing of the Kegs, green beer, drink specials, and tons of live music. Adults 21 and up only.

Brass Door Block Party

The Brass Door usually hosts a block party for St. Patrick's Day with music, drink specials, and green beer.
