Grind, Sip, Repeat: The Grind City Coffee Expo

Grind, Sip, Repeat: The Grind City Coffee Expo

Born of the desire to showcase Memphians who take coffee to the next level, The Grind City Coffee Expo is back for another year of caffeination and community.

At Wiseacre Brewing's downtown taproom on Saturday, November 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., you can explore the Memphis coffee scene with roasters, shops, vendors, demos, and more.

Taste different styles, learn how to brew your own using all the cool methods, and meet the people building our Memphis coffee culture.

More about the Grind City Coffee Expo

At the event, you'll be able to enjoy samples of varying styles of coffee from local roasters, demos for brewing and roasting methods, and three panel discussions. Plus, the event benefits Protect Our Aquifer.

Tickets are $35 for the 9 a.m. session, $30 for the 11 a.m. session, and $25 for the 1 p.m. session. About 15 coffee, tea, and related vendors will be on site.

Don't forget it's also Fieldaze weekend, so fitness classes and an outfitter expo will be happening at the same time! Read more about Fieldaze here.

How The Grind City Coffee Expo Started In Memphis

Local coffee aficionados Daniel Lynn and Rachel Williams were inspired to put together the Grind City Coffee Expo after attending coffee events in other cities—plus events like the local Science of Beer/Wine series at the Pink Palace—and observing the booming coffee scene in Memphis. Their passion is for promoting the vendors and the cause, Protect Our Aquifer.

If you don't know a Chemex from a French Press, no worries. Grind City Coffee Expo is going to be laid back and approachable.
