Fieldaze Festival This Weekend: Free Fitness Classes, Watch Parties, Expo, and Races

Outdoors and fitness festival alert!

The three-day outdoors- and fitness-oriented fest is back for a second year in downtown Memphis this weekend, November 4-6. Hosted by Discover Memphis Naturally, they’re calling it “3 days of revelry by the river” and I think it’s a fabulous idea!

FIELDAZE Q&A

What is FIELDAZE?

It’s three days of free fitness classes, competitions, an outfitters expo, and more events in downtown Memphis on November 4-6.

How much does it cost?

The fitness classes—everything from line dancing to CrossFit to yoga—are totally free! Almost all are at Wisacre’s downtown HQ. CrossFit is at Crossfit Hit & Run downtown). If you registered for one of the three big competitions, you paid an entry fee. Registration for those is closed. Tickets for the coffee festival, Grind City Coffee Expo, are $25-$35.

What are the other events?

  • Grizzlies Watch Party on Friday at 7 p.m.
  • Wiseacre Kölsch Ale Release on Friday
  • Grind City Coffee Expo on Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. — read more about this here
  • Fieldaze Expo Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Chinese Connection Dub Embassy Show Saturday 6 p.m.
  • Brunch specials at Little Bettie at Wiseacre

What Is the fieldaze Expo?

New this year, the Fieldaze Expo is on Saturday November 5th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wiseacre. Meet local outfitters, wellness vendors, fitness studios, and grab some I Love Memphis merch! See the lineup.

Where Is It/Where Do I Park?

Most of the classes, watch parties, and events are at Wiseacre’s downtown taproom at 389 S. B.B. King Blvd. The races locations are listed above.

There is plenty of parking in downtown Memphis with a short walk to Wiseacre, along the street (couple of bucks) or in surface lots or garages. Explore Bike Share is free this weekend with code FIELDAZE22.

Note: Give your self extra time to park and walk, there’s lots of exciting development and construction downtown so some streets are closed.

Half-Priced Parking On Saturday

There’s half-priced parking at the lot on Dr. MLK Jr. Ave between B.B. King and 2nd Street from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and a free shuttle running 7 a.m. to noon from that lot to Martryr’s Park where the Peer Power Big River Crossing Race is happening that morning.
