365 Memphians, Day 365
365 Memphians, Day 365
Before you meet the very last Memphian in this year's series of 365, I wanted to take a second and thank everyone who volunteered to be a part of the project. It's been great to meet all of you and learn about the awesome things you're doing to make Memphis a better place.
Stay tuned for next year's project, 365 Things to Do in Memphis. It starts tomorrow.
The last Memphian in my series of 365 was a little hesitant about being included, but since he's been with me for a lot of the last year of my work, I thought it would only be appropriate (though I did agree not to show his face). This is my best friend, John Jester. When you read a food review that mentions trying something that a friend ordered, eighty percent of the time, John is that friend.
When he's not volunteering his time as my dinner companion, he works as a cafeteria manager (aka lunch lady) for the Memphis City Schools.
