Three Contests, Two Basketball Stories and One Flea Market Closure

365 Memphians - Kalisa Hyman
Kalisa Hyman is the social media director at Thompson and Company (where she was photographed on their roof, next to their tomato plants). She's also a blogger, style junkie, and person I wouldn't mind turning into when I grow up. In other news: - There are two giveaways going on MemphisTravel.com (my parent site). One is for a vacation package to Memphis. The other is for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to tour the Graceland Archives (something that no one has ever been allowed to do). Also, if you want to win a spot on my Kookamonga Challenge eating team, you've got until 12 p.m. tomorrow to enter. - In basketball news, the Grizzlies have released their 2011 - 2012 season schedule and Tigers coach Josh Pastner has talked a wee bit of smack on Knoxville radio about how he's not at all interested in playing UT. - Sad news, bargain shoppers. After just four months in business, the Tennessee Merchandise Market on Winchester has closed. I never made it out, but I heard wonderful stories of giant murals, the Jerry Lawler Museum in progress and lots of deals.
