Fun fact: Memphis is home to the largest (and probably only) man-made crystal cave in the world. It's called the Crystal Shrine Grotto, and it's located in the middle of an otherwise nondescript East Memphis cemetery. Visiting the grotto is number 151 on our list of 365 Things To Do In Memphis.

Every summer, hundreds of people flock to the giant lawn in the middle of the Memphis Botanic Garden for the annual Live at the Garden concert series. The shows are a giant garden party combined with a picnic (you're allowed to bring in your own food and booze) and a big concert.

Have Lunch At The Reopened Caritas Village Cafe In Binghampton
After more than a year of renovations, Caritas Village reopened in September with a new Executive Director, a revamped cafe menu, and a renovated event space that's open to the public.
If you're unfamiliar, Caritas Village is a beloved community center and restaurant in Binghampton. The space was founded by Onie Johns in 2006 (read more about her here) and for more than a decade served the community as a place for art, gatherings, and good meals.

I had a chance to talk with the owner and founder of Milk Dessert Bar, Sharon Cohn, about her background, the story behind the unique dessert bar concept, and some of her favorite treats.
Sharon is a self-taught baker with ten years of experience, and eight years of professional catering experience. Milk Dessert Bar is at 1789 Kirby Parkway, Suite 10, which is near the Kroger at Kirby and Poplar. All the photos here credited to Madison Kolonis.
