Sigh.

Let's all agree on one thing: it was a great season - the best season, really. One sucky series shouldn't take away all of the joy and excitement of these past few weeks.

This year's playoffs were Memphis at its finest, and not just on the court. It's been incredible, and I feel so lucky that we got to experience that kind of unified joy.

These are by no means the only good milkshakes in Memphis. There are others (like these) that are equally delicious. What I like about these five, though, is that they transcend the usual vanilla-chocolate-strawberry shake shtick.

Today in Memphis, the Levitt Shell shows start, a new holiday has been declared (it's tomorrow), and D.J. Stephens is a beloved freak of nature. Also, we have details on where to drop off donations for tornado victims in Oklahoma.

If you turned off the TV in frustration sometime in the third quarter, you missed the Grizzlies staging a comback, Tony Allen selling a technical so hard that he should have a spot on QVC, overtime, then a not-so-bad loss. It was like the fourth quarter was trying to make up for the first three being so boring / depressing.
