Santa Claus stays plenty busy during the Christmas season in Memphis attending events and setting up shop at local venues for visits and photos.
If you’re looking to take the kids to see Santa in Memphis and the Midsouth, here are plenty of events and locations where you can find him.

Zoo Lights
Santa Claus stops by the Memphis Zoo during Zoo Lights, open select nights from November 24 through January 6. Zoo Lights includes holiday light displays, Gingerbread forest, crafts, and more. Your visit with Santa is included in the cost of admission ($19 non-members) and professional photos are available for an additional fee. Activities like the Ferris Wheel and ice skating can be enjoyed for additional fees.
Enchanted Forest at The Pink Palace
Take the family to this Memphis Christmas tradition featuring a snow-covered village, uniquely decorated trees, cuddly-stuffed penguins, and a visit with Santa. Tickets to the Enchanted Forest are $7 for adults and $6 for kids and seniors, and the event is open from November 18 til December 31. In years past, Santa was only around until Christmas Eve and photo packages started at $10.
Bass Pro Shop at the Memphis Pyramid
Travel to Santa’s Wonderland at the Bass Pro Pyramid through Christmas Eve for plenty of activities, crafts, and fun for the kids. It’s free to experience this holiday event at Bass Pro and have your kids or pets take pictures with Santa Claus, but space is limited and you need to grab a free "Bass Pass" to save your spot. Santa on Beale Street
This is a free amazing outdoor holiday experience on December 1st & 8th from 5 pm-7 pm on Beale Street. Free pictures with Santa will be available on Facebook next day @bealestreet-memphis.
Starry Nights at Shelby Farms
After you drive through the million-plus twinkling lights at Shelby Farm Park’s Starry Nights displays, stop in to Mistletoe Village for more holiday fun. Santa will be in his workshop on select Sundays and Thursdays in December during Starry Nights hours. It's $6.95 to walk and $15 to drive (on Magical Deal Days) through Starry Nights and photo packages are priced separately. Leashed pets and kids are welcome to take photos with Santa.
Frosty Fest at Carriage Crossing
Carriage Crossing shopping center in Collierville will host Santa Claus for keepsake photos on November 18 from 2 pm - 5 pm. Find Santa on the Center Green along with face painters, holiday characters, and more festive fun. You can also find him at Mid-South Furniture Christmas Town.
Wolfchase Galleria
Wolfchase Galleria Mall hosts Santa Claus for visits and photos in Memphis daily from morning until evening starting November 24 through Christmas Eve.
The Shops of Saddle Creek
At the Shops of Saddle Creek in Germantown, you can take free photos with Santa on weekends in December. You'll get a printed and a digital copy. Friendly, leashed pets are welcome to take photos with Santa, too.
Christmas In Collierville
The Town of Collierville will host a holiday celebration in the town square on Saturdays starting November 25 til December 16. Head to the gazebo for Photos With Santa from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, plus plenty of other activities like carriage rides, caroling, and more.
Cedar Hill Farm
Take a little trip to Cedar Hill Farm in Hernando, Mississippi on weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas to enjoy (selfie-like) photos and a southern brunch or dinner with Santa. There are very limited hours available just for Santa visits and photos. Here's where to reserve.

Special Events To See Santa In Memphis
Holiday Kick-Off at Saddle Creek, December 1
Enjoy an outdoor screening of The Polar Express, Santa photos, and train rides. They'll have food trucks on site serving hot chocolate and other tasty treats. Bring your own chairs and blankets.
Memphis Symphony Orchestra- Magic of Memphis, Cannon Center, December 2
Experience Memphis’ most beloved holiday tradition featuring the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, chorus and dancing Santas.
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer: The Musical, Orpheum Theatre, December 19
See all of your favorite characters from the special including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, the Abominable Snow Monster, and, of course, Rudolph, as they come to life onto the stage. Rudolph kinda takes the shine on this one. You can take your own photos with Mr. Red Nose himself if you pre-purchase a $40 ticket (valid for up to party of 6.)
