Sing Your Heart Out at These Summer Movie Screenings at the Orpheum

Grab your friends or the kids, warm up those vocal cords, and get ready for a good old-fashioned sing-along inside one of the most iconic theaters in Memphis.

The Orpheum is hosting three interactive movie screenings this summer where singing is not only allowed, it’s encouraged. Not to mention, what a great way to escape that Memphis heat!

Here’s the lineup:

Sing 2 – Saturday, July 19 at 2 p.m.

A feel-good animated jam with a cast of critters who dream big, sing louder, and somehow convince Bono to be in a kids’ movie. It’s PG, it’s fun, and it’s a great way to cool off with the fam in the middle of Memphis summer.

Grease – Saturday, August 2 at 2 p.m.

You know the words. “Tell me more, tell me more…” Come dressed like a Pink Lady or T-Bird if you feel like it (you won’t be the only one), and relive this high-energy classic with a crowd that’s ready to sing their hearts out.

The Sound of Music – Saturday, August 16 at 2 p.m.

Do-Re-Mi, My Favorite Things, Edelweiss… all the hits, all the heart, all the harmonies. This one’s a full-on sing-a-long version of the Rodgers & Hammerstein musical we all know and love.

Tickets are $12 for each show and are on sale now through the Orpheum box office (901-525-3000) or Ticketmaster. Go ahead and make it a summer tradition.

Thanks to Wolfchase Honda, Xela Domains, and New York Life for bringing the music and the magic to Memphis.
