Thanksgiving is coming up on November 23, 2023. It will be here quicker than you know it so make those plans early because places will fill up. Here’s a list of places open on Thanksgiving in Memphis and the Midsouth.

Shieks-Giving -- it's a Thanksgiving night tradition! The Shieks start playing at 9 p.m. with doors opening at 8 p.m.

Opens at 5 p.m.

Max's Sports Bar
Every year, Max's has a big Thanksgiving celebration with a pot luck. Don't come empty handed and expect for it to be busy. Begins generally at 5 p.m.
Owners Box Sports Grill
One of newest sports bar in the area will be open Thanksgiving night beginning at 4 p.m.
Slider Inn

Bishop at Central Station
Bishop will be open for breakfast and dinner.
Bounty on Broad
Everyone's favorite all gluten-free restaurant will be open for Thanksgiving.
Cafe India- Authentic Indian Grill
Cafe India will be open and offering a lunch buffet.
Capital Grille
The Capital Grille will be serving a Thanksgiving menu for lunch and dinner. Guests can also order off the regular dinner menu. The Thanksgiving meal will be $50 for adults and $20 for children. See the menu.
Capriccio Grill Thanksgiving Dinner at The Peabody
Leave the cooking and cleaning to someone else this Thanksgiving. Join Capriccio Grill for a 3-course Thanksgiving meal that includes all your favorites served in Peabody style.
Complicated Pilgrim at The Memphian Hotel
Complicated Pilgrim will be open for a Thanksgiving lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Indulge in a delectable pre-fixe menu priced at $55 per person, featuring a delightful selection of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Menu and reservations here.
Chez Philippe at The Peabody
An elegant, four-course Thanksgiving dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The Cupboard
Let The Cupboard do the cooking for you. Serving Thanksgiving Day from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., The Cupboard will offer their regular menu and turkey and dressing. Here is the menu for takeout orders in advance.
Erling Jensen Small Bites & Topgolf Swing Suites
Enjoy dinner and maybe get some swings in too! Erling Jensen Small Bites will offer a Thanksgiving special from 11am – 6pm for $45 per person. The full menu will be available from 6pm to 10pm. Here's the Thanksgiving menu.
Fleming's Prime Steakhouse
Fleming’s will offer a dinner menu and a Thanksgiving menu. For the Thanksgiving menu, they'll serve a three-course meal. They also have a children's three-course menu. Three-course meal for adults starts at $56/person.
The Guest House at Graceland
Graceland's Guest House hotel will be open for Thanksgiving with a buffet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. $65.99/per person. Buffet will include a cold bar, carving board, sides, and desserts. Menu and reservations here.

They'll be open all Thanksgiving day with their traditional Indian menu.

Neil’s is open 365 days a year and a Thanksgiving buffet.
The Peabody Thanksgiving Brunch
Celebrate Thanksgiving at the "South's Grand Hotel " with a Thanksgiving meal served in high-style, in beautifully appointed ballrooms around the Mezzanine. This lavish meal, served buffet-style, features appetizers, salads, Thanksgiving-style entrées, side dishes, and desserts.

Open for lunch and dinner on Thanksgiving with a special menu serving all the holiday classics. $40/adults and $18/children. Menu and reservations here.
When in doubt, check with your favorite Chinese or Indian restaurant. Hotel restaurants generally stay open too.

The new restaurant Dim Sum King on Summer will be open Thanksgiving too. I called to ask and confirm. But, their Dim Sum cart service only available until 3 pm.
Could you add them to the list to help out this new restaurant?

Hi Steve, I think Neil's might be set up as a buffet but you would need to call them to confirm. Have not heard of any others, unfortunately.
