I really love the Monster Market. Really, really love it. This isn’t your average seasonal store—it’s a local tradition, blending the eerie and the artistic, showcasing some of Memphis’ most talented makers and crafters in the creepiest, most creative ways possible, plus national creators too.

What is Monster Market?
Monster Market is self-described as “a freaky pop-up for weirdos like you!” pop-up experience, curated to celebrate the creepy, the cute, and everything in between. Monster Market got its start in 2017 and was organized by the talented Holtermonster. You’ve probably seen her work as a sponsor for the Time Warp Drive-In series movie posters, her new Strange Tales movie series, or for local musicians promoting their shows.
This is a serious collection of curated goods from more than 100 designers, illustrators, printmakers, painters, sculptors, crafters, jewelers, and more. You’ll find everything from handmade jewelry to eerie sculptures, clothing, prints, ghoulish goodies for your home. Really there is something for every spooky soul.
If you're into the unusual, the supernatural, horror movies, or you just love a good haunt, this market is a must-visit!
When and Where?
This year’s Monster Market will pop up from October 10-16, 2025, at The Medicine Factory in downtown. Opening night is always my favorite time to go. They'll have complimentary refreshments from Bain Barbecue, Whisks of Doom, Old Dominick, and Hi Tone, plus tunes by DJ St. Francis Elevator Ride and The Witching Hour from WYXR. Plus, a photo booth by Cheers Photo Co.
Monster Market has a ton of fun events planned this year like a Monster Collage Party with Like Really Creative, game demos, movie nights showing Dracula (1931), Cabin in the Woods, Jennifer's Body, and more.
