2026 Guide To Memphis Farmers Markets

From seasonal markets to year-round farmers markets, this is your guide to fresh fruits, veggies, flowers, meats, baked goods, prepared foods, and other local goodies.

MEMPHIS-AREA FARMERS MARKETS OPEN ON SATURDAYS

Memphis Farmers Market - April through October (accepts Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, card, EBT)

Saturdays, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., Front St & GE Patterson

The downtown farmer’s market is one of the most popular farmer’s markets in town, open seasonally starting in April. Shop for fresh produce, flowers, coffee, seafood, prepared foods and handmade goods and support local farmers and vendors!

Cooper-Young Community Farmers Market Year-round (accepts EBT and SNAP)

Saturdays, 8 a.m. – Noon, First Congo Parking Lot at 1000 S Cooper St

Check out the market in Cooper-Young where vendors are selling locally grown fruits and vegetables, meat, coffee, baked goods, ethnic foods, hot dishes, and handmade jewelry, crafts and other goods. You can count on them to support local farmers and vendors even in the winter!

 Agricenter Farmers Market - Year-round

Summer Hours (Monday - Saturday), 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Winter Hours (Saturdays only), 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The longest-running seasonal market in Tennessee is open Monday through Saturday with summer hours beginning May 4th. There is a wide selection of fruits, vegetables, baked goods and crafts housed in the bright red barn-shaped building, and plants and flowers are sold outside. Follow the farmers market on Instagram here and Agricenter International on Instagram here for additional activities. 

Lightfoot Farm Market - April through December

1st Saturday of the month, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.,  7422 Ward Road Millington TN 38053

One of the newest farmers markets on the scene has grown successfully popular. It's a little bit of drive but worth a visit for this authentic farmers market feel. Lightfoot Farm Market is on a 58-acre family farm and opens its gates to the public on the first Saturday of each month—shop for fresh produce, eggs, honey, Angus beef, artisan goods, pre-made foods, and more. Bartlett Station Farmers Market - May 23 through September 26

Saturdays, 8 a.m. to Noon, 2629 Bartlett Blvd

Enjoy and shop all things local at the Bartlett Station Farmers Market from 40 different vendors. Check the list of participating vendors here.

MEMPHIS-AREA FARMERS MARKETS OPEN ON TUESDAYS

Black Farmers Market

Opening day, Saturday, June 20; Tuesdays, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. through September 22, 491 E. McLemore (Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church)

 

The Black Farmers Market celebrates its 5th anniversary this year! Presented by the Center for Black Southern Culture, this seasonal market aims to bring food, fun, and folks together for fellowship and Southern vibes. Shop for locally grown produce, dairy, farm raised meats, baked goods, prepared foods, and handmade goods. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram to find out what’s in stock.

 

MEMPHIS-AREA FARMERS MARKETS OPEN ON THURSDAYS

Collierville Farmers Market - May 21 - September 24

Thursdays, 8 a.m. to Noon, Collierville UMC at 454 W Poplar Ave.

In addition to Market vendors there will be live music, weekly kids' activities, giveaways, special events and more. Pets on leashes are welcome. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram for weekly vendor lists. 

 South Memphis Farmers Market - June - September

Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1400 Mississippi Blvd

Since its start in 2010, the South Memphis Farmers Market has been essential in providing fresh produce from local farmers and handmade items from local producers.  An initiative of The Works, the Market is also home to The Grocer, a year-round neighborhood grocery store that carries everything you need to prepare delicious, healthful meals at home.

Carpenter Art Garden Market - Opening date for 2026 TBD (accepts cash, credit cards, and Venmo)

Thursdays and Mondays, 3 p.m to 5 p.m., 281 Carpenter Street (the main produce garden)

The Garden Market is uncrowded and the produce is fresh – veggies are picked the day of. Your purchases support the mission of Carpenter Art Garden. Visit Facebook and Instagram to see what is on sale each day.

MEMPHIS AREA FARMERS MARKETS OPEN DAILY/MOST DAYS

Winchester Farmers Market

Open daily 8:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. 6616 Winchester Rd.

It’s called a “farmers market”, but it’s really an international, indoor grocery store. This place is amazing. It’s overflowing with a huge selection of foods, including and especially Asian and Latin American cuisine. Think every kind of produce, fresh meats, live seafood, and all manner of international snacks, treats, packaged foods, and other items.

Cordova International Farmers Market

Open daily 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., 1150 N Germantown Pkwy

Thanks to a reader for suggesting this place! This international grocery store has rave reviews for hard to find items. They have an expansive seafood selection and international food items.

Jones Orchard

Monday – Saturday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., markets at 7170 Hwy 51 N. and 6850 Singleton Pkwy both in Millington

Jones Orchard offers their homegrown apples, berries, plums, nectarines, peaches, strawberries, and more at their two roadside markets in Millington. Both are open Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jones Orchard also appears regularly at the Memphis Farmers Market and the Cooper Young  Farmers Market,.

Check out the ripening calendar (where you can also pick your own!). Fresh-made jams and homemade pies are available inside the market. They’re on Facebook and Instagram.

Those of you who think things are best enjoyed after hard work (or those of you who are super picky) should make a trip to Jones Orchard if open. The orchard has patches of pick-your-own peaches, blackberries and strawberries, and a pumpkin patch in the fall.
