Crawfish season is underway in Memphis!
Here’s where to get crawfish in Memphis and the Mid-South this year, including a list of local restaurants carrying mudbugs, vendors selling crawfish or hosting boils, and any festival information we have so far.
Memphis and Mid-South Restaurants That Serve Crawfish
Here is who’s selling crawfish so far in Memphis and the surrounding areas:
Max's Sports Bar in downtown Memphis hosts crawfish boils on Saturdays. Doors open at 11 a.m., crawfish served around noon. Price is $12.50/lb for 1 lb of crawfish, $21/lb for 2 lbs, and shrimp is $16/lb. Sides are included in price but not total weight.
The Bluff hosts crawfish boils on Saturdays starting at noon until they're gone. $18/platters, $15/beer buckets.
Loflin Yard is hosting weekly crawfish boils on Sundays beginning March 19 from 12 to 3 p.m. Enjoy live music while munching on some mudbugs. Head here for the Grizzlies playoffs on April 16th from noon - 3 p.m.
Railgarten will have LOTS of opportunity to get some crawdaddies. They're serving them up every Thursday and Friday at 5pm and Saturday and Sunday at 12pm until they sell out.
Crossroads Seafood in Hernando is open year-round and serves crawfish during the season. They’re up and running for 2023. Watch their FB page for availability and prices. Crossroads is owned by Billy's Crawfish, which sells crawfish and delivers in bulk.
J3 Cajun Seafood in Southaven serves crawfish by the pound during crawfish season, plus plenty of other seafood dishes. They've started up for 2023! Check out availability and prices on their Facebook page.
Crawfish Haven Seafood restaurant in Horn Lake is open year-round serving all kinds of seafood, including crawfish generally from January through July. They've started for the 2023 season! Follow their Facebook page for details.
Cajun Crawdads (located in Byhalia, MS outside of Collierville) recommended by one of you! Don't just stop to get crawfish. Try the boudin, shrimp, and all the add-ons like remoulade sauce, corn, and potatoes.

Crawfish & Cocktails - Saturday, March 18
Join Old Dominick Distillery for the 2nd annual Crawfish & Cocktails event with live music by Rooster Revival featuring Geaux Creole's award-winning crawfish. Most crawfish festivals are in April so we love to see a March event. Tickets are on sale now!
Porter-Leath’s Rajun Cajun Crawfish Fest - Sunday, April 16
One of Memphis’s huge crawfish fests is Rajun Cajun. This downtown event benefits Porter-Leath and this year will spread out along Riverside Drive between Jefferson and Union. Usually, there are three stages of live music, lots of games and contests, food vendors, a kids' area, and another million pounds of crawfish. This is the 30th year for this event so we're expecting this to be an extra good one!
Overton Square's Crawfish Festival - Saturday, April 22nd
Overton Square's Crawfish Festival is finally back! Hallelujah! We can't wait to get our claws on crawfish from Bayou Bar & Grill, craft beer, live music, local vendor market, and much more.
THRIVE'S First Annual Crawfish Boil - Sunday, April 23rd
The more crawfish boils the better! Join THRIVE for its first crawfish boil at Railgarten to help support their mission. In addition to crawfish, people can opt for a grill ticket for food like burgers, hot dogs, or wings. There will be a live band, raffle, and more.
Memphis Farmers Market Crawfish Boil - Saturday, April 29th
It's the Annual Crawfish Boil at the Memphis Farmers Market! There will be live music, lawn games, Glaze's crawfish, and Wiseacre Brewing Co beer! All proceeds benefit the Memphis Farmers Market.

My Neighbor has Crawfish Cabin and just opened this weekend at walnut grove and houston levee. It's on facebook and is usually set up every weekend, I'll be there tomorrow when its warmer.
TJ Mulligans hwy 64 and houston levee use to do crawfish prior to covid, haven't heard anything so far this year.
