Vesta Home Show, Germantown, Now til Sunday, $12-$25

Step inside the 41st Annual Vesta Home Show and explore the pinnacle of luxury home design, innovation, and craftsmanship. This spring, Wilder at Forest Hill will transform into a showcase of cutting-edge architecture, high-end interiors, and the latest in-home technology.

Bluff City Fair, Liberty Park, Friday til June 1, $5-$15

Enjoy the Bluff City Fair filled with your favorite carnival rides, fair food, and performances. Check out the attraction schedule here

Sundresses & Linen Weekend, Mud Island Park, Friday til Sunday, ticket prices vary

It’s 3 days and 4 events happening as the summer’s most sophisticated weekend. Friday is a Welcome Reception with DJ IB Johndoe. Saturday is Omega Fest, a HBCU festival with food trucks, DJs, and vendors. Sunday is the legendary Sundresses and Linen event along with a Midnight Brunch.It’s not too late to grab tickets!

MidSouth Mega Con, Memphis Sports & Event Center, Saturday and Sunday, $16-$37

MidSouth Mega Con is a family-friendly convention celebrating comics, art, gaming, and pop culture. It’s a celebration of anime, cartoons, movies, comic books, video games, cosplay, wrestling, and more!

 

THINGS TO DO IN FRIDAY, MAY 23RD

Bourbon and Boxing II, Renasant Convention Center, 6 p.m. - 10 p.m., starting at $50

Bourbon and Boxing - ROUND 2 - returns to Renasant Convention Center with fights from Eric Draper, Dedrick Bell, Jacob Miller, Macro Hall Jr., Jason Pearson, Dyron Words and more! This event showcases the finest boxing talent, featuring top boxers from Memphis facing off against contenders traveling from all corners of the United States.

Canoes + Cocktails, Shelby Farms Park, 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., $35-$80

Experience the unrivaled sunset with a guided evening paddle on Hyde Lake at Shelby Farms Park. Immediately following the guided paddle, enjoy specialty cocktails provided by Old Dominick Distillery, wine, beer, and individually packaged snacks at the First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center. Yard games, firepits, and music will entertain you under the stars when the rest of the Park is closed.

John Primer and the Real Deal Blues Band, Crosstown Arts Green Room, 7:30 p.m. - 7:30 pm., $20-$25

John Primer, a three-time Grammy nominee and Blues Hall of Famer, helped shape Chicago blues through his roots in Mississippi, early work with legends like Muddy Waters, and performances at iconic venues. After touring with Waters and Magic Slim, he formed his own band in 1995, releasing numerous albums and mentoring others to preserve the blues tradition.

Party Iconic Presents: Gaga Nights, Minglewood Hall, 8 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., $27

Expect a high-energy dance party featuring Gaga’s greatest hits alongside pop anthems from artists like Kesha, Dua Lipa, and Kylie Minogue. Whether you're a Little Monster or just love a good pop throwdown, Gaga Nights promises a night of unforgettable music, fierce fashion, and inclusive fun.

THINGS TO DO ON SATURDAY, MAY 24TH


Memphis In May’s Great American River Run on Saturday. This is a half-marathon / 10K / 5K race in downtown Memphis with a huge after party + cash prizes!

The Great Afterparty, Groovy Gratitude, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., free to attend or $9.01 for VIP

Speaking of after parties, join the 901 Run Club for The Great Afterparty at Groovy Gratitude. With sounds by DJ Solo, Keep the race-day vibes going with a $9.01 VIP experience that includes an exclusive, never-before-released 901 Run Club item, custom stickers, and a creative, interactive station where you can decorate your racing gear. Just swing by the 901 Run Club canopy tent outside Groovy Gratitude and show your Eventbrite QR code to pick up your goodies. 

Memphis Showboats vs. Arlington Renegades, Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, 11 a.m., starting at $25

Let’s cheer on our Boats as they play the second to last game of the season. Don't miss the hard-hitting professional football action! 

Hip Hop and R&B Bingo, The Coronet, Noon and 6 p.m., $40

If you ain’t been to Hip-Hop & R&B Bingo with Tom Swoope yet, let me put you on real quick—this ain’t your average bingo night! Instead of numbers, they call out the biggest Hip-Hop & R&B hits from the ‘90s, 2000s, and today! You’ll be singing, dancing, laughing, and competing for dope prizes in a high-energy, interactive experience like no other. Note: there are two shows– one for brunch and one for nighttime.

Live Music on the Porch ft. Jesse Wilcox, South Point Grocery, Noon - 2 p.m., free to attend

Jesse Wilcox will be playing on the SPG stage. Enjoy a cold beer from the singles case, a delicious sandwich from the deli, and great live music on the covered patio. P.S. – There’s plenty of parking on our street and in our parking lot!

Goat Yoga, Overton Park Shell, 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., $25 RESCHEDULED DUE TO WEATHER

Get ready for a fun and unforgettable workout experience with 901 Goat Yoga! Head to Shelby Farms Park for a session of goat yoga that will leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and smiling from ear to ear. Adult Field Day, Crosstown Brewing Co., 3 p.m., free to attend

Silent Disco 80s Theme: Slider Inn Downtown, 8 p.m. - 11 p.m., $13-$25

Kick off Your summer patio experience with A soulful live music residency by @k.j._willis, Vibes curated by the official resident, DJ Babo (@babo_ent), blooming beauty by @themanewildling, their new house florist! Expect fresh cocktails, good people, and a patio you won’t want to leave.

Sunset Symphony, Overton Park Shell, 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m., free to attend

The Memphis Symphony Orchestra returns to the Overton Park Shell for this annual community tradition featuring the sensational MSO Big Band. Bring your blanket and picnic basket for an unforgettable evening of music under the stars.

Memphis Reggae Nights ft. Bigg Smith, B-Side, 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., $17

Celebrate another edition of Memphis Reggae Nights featuring Memphis' very own, Bigg Smith! Grab your friends for a night filled with good vibes and beautiful tunes.

Rockfest, Lamplighter Lounge, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m., $12

This is a casual gathering for Memphis area car owners that welcomes all makes and models of vehicles.

2nd Annual Shroomlicious Vegan Cookout, Shroomlicious Meals, 1 p.m. - 6 p.m., $28-$60

They’re bringing the flavor with a spread that'll make your taste buds dance, all centered around the amazing mushroom. And guess what? They've got sizzling BBQ plates hot off the grill. Each plate is packed with grilled mushrooms, tasty sides, and mouthwatering sauces that'll have you coming back for seconds (and thirds)!

Memorial Day Weekend Pickleball Clinics, Peace Tree UMC, 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., $50

Join Pickleball Pros, Dusty & Jess Fahie, for some fun 90-minute clinics that leave plenty of time for open play at the end of the second hour. Learn the basic strokes, court positions, rules, and scoring for the fastest-growing sport in America. Paddles and balls will be provided for the first clinic of the day. For players who have already learned the basics of pickleball and want to improve their skills and gameplay. Advance your techniques, strategies, and overall performance.

5th Annual Memorial Day BBQ, Carolina Watershed, 3 p.m. - 9 p.m., starting at $20, 21+

Celebrate Memorial Day in style at the 5th Annual BBQ Bash at Carolina Watershed! Enjoy an afternoon of mouthwatering food, exciting games, generous giveaways, and live music from top DJs. With a vibrant lineup of vendors and special performances, this event promises to be the ultimate Memorial Day experience.
